OCHO Tour & Tasting

Visit Dunedin's Craft Chocolate Factory.

What's it all about?

Learn about chocolate making right from where cacao is grown to how it is crafted into bars. Walk inside the factory and see the OCHO team roast, grind, temper and wrap chocolate by hand. Taste the difference between cacao from Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and Fiji and walk away feeling good about craft chocolate.

Much of the craft chocolate making process is considered 'low-tech.' In an industry that considers automation the key to greater margins and profitability for shareholders, OCHO is going against the grain. Using a combination of bespoke machinery and craft philosophy, OCHO is building an innovative business model that is good for the world. Visit the factory yourself and learn how.

The OCHO Tour & Tasting takes about one hour. Contact us to make a booking via phone 034257819 or email chocolate@ocho.co.nz.
