After the tragic events of Christchurch, we recognise that many communities in New Zealand are marginalised. While many people have access to training and ideas, some find these things difficult to access whether because of discrimination, economic disadvantage or other reasons.
That is why we want to offer an innovation workshop to improve access to innovation and entrepreneurial ideas to individuals from all communities. We want to include everyone, focusing on those who might get left behind by other initiatives.
This two-day workshop gives you a concentrated learning experience, covering identifying customer painpoints, identifying root causes, creating breakthrough solutions, prioritising actions, and defining a minimum viable product.
You'll gain an insight into the challenges of setting up a new business, and the key steps you must take in order for an innovative business to be successful.
You will learn how to think strategically and logically about business problems, particularly solving customer problems.
You will also learn how to put the customer at the centre of everything you do.
Please note this event is free and there are limited numbers. You will need to go through an application process. You will be notified if you are selected.
