Ben Reid is the Executive Director of the Artificial Intelligence Forum of New Zealand, an organisation focused on harnessing the potential of AI for a thriving future New Zealand.
Ben has 25 years' professional experience in the technology sector working in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. He brings substantial expertise of software development, enterprise architecture and strategic consulting. More recently his interest has focused on unlocking the potential from machine learning, machine vision and other AI technologies so that New Zealand businesses can remain competitive and get ahead in a fast-changing world.
Dorenda is a challenger and a future-thinker. She has a varied and entrepreneurial background both in New Zealand and overseas. With 20+ years of experience in the design space and as the founder of The Britten Institute, Dorenda’s goal is to reframe design around a set of principles that will secure our environmental, social and financial future.
Dorenda has been a Judge at the NZ Hi-Tech Awards for over 10 years, has been a member of significant advisory groups, and is currently enjoying mentoring roles with the future leaders in the Our Land and Water National Science Challenge and as a Business Growth Advisor for SODA Inc Waikato.
