Savannah Peterson is a Forbes 30 Under 30 in Consumer Tech and the Founder of Savvy Millennial. At Savvy Millennial, Savannah makes the future less scary by building community around new technology. Savannah has built community around everything from Bronies, to books, to Sophia the humanoid robot. Savannah was also previously the Director of Global Community at Shapeways, the world's largest 3D Printing community in New York City. Savannah teaches entrepreneurship, community management and digital marketing at Stanford, NYU, UCLA, PACE and Xavier. She has been featured in/on the Today Show, NBC Nightly News, the BBC, NBC, The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, Gizmodo, CNET, The Verge, and more. She loves to attend #NASASocial experiences when she can.
Laurent Sylvestre is passionate about helping people and organisations to develop their actual strengths and future talents to the full. Originally from France, Laurent joined Beca in 2009. As Chief People & Culture Officer, Laurent enjoys designing, leading and implementing innovative initiatives and frameworks that continue to transform Beca into a talent-led organisation and believing everyone has a gift. In his role Laurent leads the P&C function across all Beca locations: Australia, Asia-Pacific and New Zealand.
Stephen Witherden is a Technical Fellow for Software Engineering at Beca and as such is not only accountable for the software work we deliver, but spends a great deal of his time working with clients to understand how technology can be used to benefit them. A software engineer with an Operations Research background, Stephen has a keen interest in using technologies such as Modelling & Simulation, AR & VR, IoT, Analytics, and AI to improve the quality of decision making for our organisations and communities. Over the last 14 years, Stephen has been intimately involved in many of our world-class projects.
Sue Bradley leads Beca’s Industrial Advisory business which includes the Industry 4.0 team. Her mission is to realise value from the rapid increase in technologies to vastly improve the performance of our clients businesses and to spearhead exponential business growth. She has held a variety of operations and project delivery roles in the industrial and manufacturing sectors requiring balancing consistency and best practice, with innovative thinking, and new ways of looking at the world. Sue is passionate about how we do both in the quest to build great businesses and projects.
Jeannine Walsh leads Beca’s New Ventures Accelerator that’s designed to amplify Beca’s existing innovation culture and accelerate the commercialisation and diversification of new products and services, to create new businesses for Beca. Jeannine was Head of Trade for infrastructure and transport at the British High Commission in New Zealand, designing and delivering strategies to open up new business. She has an extensive background in international sales and business development working in both the private and public sector across the US, NZ and UK. Jeannine created the social enterprise, Changeability, from an idea through to launch. She is passionate about mindfulness practices.
