Techweek Highlight Event

Techweek TV: How are new technologies aiding conservation efforts in Aotearoa?

We lift the curtain on the innovative organisations leading the way in animal conservation.

What's it all about?

Aotearoa is proud of it’s pure, green culture and conservation is an ongoing concern. This session looks at how conservation organisations are using innovation for the good of our animal friends around New Zealand.

Hear the full story on how drones are vital to the repopulation of Kakapos in Auckland, and learn how IoT is helping track penguins on the Otago Peninsula.

The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion which gives the floor to these passionate organisations. Join us as we ask how they see technology aiding the future of conservation.
