We are excited to launch Startup Grind in New Plymouth with Alexia Hilbertidou as guest speaker. This event is designed to inspire and connect women who are interested in the future of work, entrepreneurship, leadership and empowerment.
Alexia is is the founder of GirlBoss NZ, an organisation which encourages young women to embrace STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths), Leadership and Entrepreneurship. GirlBoss is New Zealand’s second largest women's network with nearly 10,500 members. Alexia is passionate about promoting the exciting opportunities and challenging the stereotypes in entrepreneurship and STEM fields.
We'll be discussing how Alexia got started, her involvement with NASA, her vision for GirlBoss and how at age 20 she has managed to accomplish a huge amount and what's next for her.
