Behind The Scenes

Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Perpetual Guardian Planetarium, learn how we make shows and project them onto the dome.

What's it all about?

To celebrate Techweek19, join us on a behind-the-scenes tour of the Museum's Perpetual Guardian Planetarium and learn how we make and project shows onto the dome. Look behind the smoke and mirrors for a sneak peek at some of the experimental technology we're working on that hasn't been released yet, and try a Virtual Reality experience. A few people may even get to drive the universe in our dome!

You should be present for the whole duration of this event.

Otago Museum, Perpetual Guardian Planetarium, 419 Great King Street, North Dunedin, Dunedin
