Since 2011 leads Open Parallel's participation at the Square Kilometre Array radio-telescope (SKA) -the largest IT project globally, working in OS and cybersecurity for the Science Data Processor. He organises Multicore World -the most respected IT conference in the South Pacific. An experienced speaker, Nicolás presented in five continents about the transformational effects of high-tech. Nicolás holds a Master of Entrepreneurship from Otago University, lives in Oamaru and can ask for a beer in five human languages.
John is the Chief Product Officer at TracMap, leading the company's product development for both hardware and software solutions used across the world. John has always loved technology, programming and building circuits since he was six years old. He has created startups, been a University lecturer, built technology for medical education and research, and most recently has focused on innovation in AgriTech for the last two years.
Brandon is a serial entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of Tether, a Kiwi start-up created to help solve the problems we face with unhealthy living, learning and working environments and energy inefficient buildings.
Brandon’s entrepreneurial journey began in 2002 when he started the first tuck shop in his boarding school which allowed the purchase of goods on credit. Since then he has started a conference venue and restaurant as well as founding the first ever Bitcoin payment gateway in New Zealand.
Brandon has a passion for impacting people’s lives positively and a vision to do so through technology.
