The launch of Te Ōhaka coincides with Techweek19. Te Ōhaka - the Centre for Growth and Innovation which is an ecosystem-powered hub located in Christchurch that connects, nurtures, supports, and promotes our country's high-growth startups and innovation-led early stage ventures. The ecosystem includes regional and national stakeholders.
Te Ōhaka is where the high growth start-up community lives and where members collaborate, emulate and accelerate. The Centre has labs, workshops, and component machinery for deep tech innovators as well as exhibitions, events, workshops, presentation and meeting spaces across the entire campus.
The official launch event will take place on 24th May at 1-3 PM. Hon. Megan Woods - Minister of Science and Innovation will be delivering a keynote speech on the theme of why NZ innovation is important to the world. There will be additional VIP guests delivering keynote addresses to inspire high growth startups.
This is definitely a must attend event for anyone interested in high growth startups or NZ innovation.
