Tauhara College STEM Innovation Hub Open Day

Come along and check out the amazing work the STEM Teachers from Tauhara College are doing.

 The STEM Hub is hosting an open day from 10.30 - 12.30, so you can pop in and check out what the students are up to.

A visit will take between 20 and 60 min so be sure to allow yourself enough time to meet some students and view their work. 

Three Tauhara College teachers from Science, Technology & Maths have integrated their Curriculum areas & are embedding learning with future focused skills by developing a new and diverse and inclusive new area of the school named the Te Waka STEM Innovation Hub.

"Our aim is to find a real world problem in the local community where a stakeholder presents this to students which they then use their learnings in Science, Technology & Maths, embedded with future focused skills to find an appropriate solution & feed that back to the stakeholder."
