OMGTECH! RANGERS - C.A.S.T WORKSHOPS

Come experience new creative technology sessions with OMGTech! Aimed at youth 8 - 12

Want to be a maker? LOVE rocket science?!? Crazy about computer design! Find out how tech works and how you can make what ever you imagine at our all new OMGTech! Rangers half day event:

Your children will do 3 workshops at the event:

• Be a maker - turn the world into your computer and your computer into the world & go from mind to design in minutes. Play with Makey-Makeys, 3D pens and more.
• Rockets, Reactions, and Repeat - build your own rocket and see just how far it goes then work out how you can make it go even higher!
• How things work with Electronics - explore and design circuits, understand the things that make our technology tick and design some yourself.

The workshop will run twice so choose the session that works for you:

Session 1: 9.15am - 12.30pm 

Session 2: 1.45pm - 5pm

Investment: The event is $35. This includes complimentary entry into MOTAT of the day for one adult and one child. If you would like to donate an additional ticket for a child that cannot otherwise afford to do so we appreciate it. No food will be provided so if you are staying for lunch or your child would like snacks please bring them from home.
