Hackfest for Voluntari.ly - Industry in the classroom

Voluntari.ly is a platform linking classroom teachers of STEM subjects to corporate volunteers and content to deliver engaging learning experiences for NZ youth to help bridge the digital divide. This hackathon provides an opportunity to work in teams to contribute to a real software platform built with industry-leading technologies (MongoDB, Express, React, NodeJS, plus Github and JIRA ). This will be a fantastic opportunity to learn / practice these technologies, get teamwork experience, and provide a fantastic networking opportunity.
