Hackathon to help Support The Canterbury Muslim Community Trust (CMCT).

This is a community hackathon event to help the Muslim Community and is in response to the mailout from Canterbury Tech asking for help.

What's it all about?

Hackathon to help Support The Canterbury Muslim Community Trust (CMCT).

This is a community event to help the Muslim Community and is in response to the mailout from Canterbury Tech asking for help. We have Microsoft and other tech companies helping to run a Hackathon with technical resources and cloud resources to help solve some of the issues which are facing the Muslim Community since the March 15th terrorist attack:

CMCT has identified 4 general projects that require IT expertise:

Donations - CRM systems

Social media and web site

Database and Help desk

General discussion around IT support.

We are planning to bring the community together with skills people who can create systems (for free) that will make a difference and bring the community together. As a Microsoft MVP (Data Platform) I will get NZ based MVPs to help code and teach to make this initiative a great one.
