Join us to learn how to build compelling voice experiences for Alexa, the service that powers millions of devices, including Amazon Echo and Echo Dot. This free, hands-on learning experience will be held on Thursday, 23rd May 2019.
Attendees will receive an introduction to Alexa and in-depth training on how to build skills with the Alexa Skills Kit (ASK), tools, documentation and code samples that make it fast and easy to create Alexa skills. Come prepared with at least 10 facts on your favourite topic, as we’ll show you how to create and publish your Alexa fact skill to the Australia and New Zealand Skills Store during the day.
Please bring a fully charged laptop to the event and you will need to create an Amazon Developer account here (https://developer.amazon.com/alexa-skills-kit/anz) and an AWS account here (https://aws.amazon.com) prior to arrival.
Spaces are limited, so please register here as soon as possible. Attendees must be 18 or over or have guardian supervision to attend the workshop.
